It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling, peaceful, and joyful life, and to take that first step toward change. I’m Valerie, and I have the privilege of supporting adults through challenges like depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and life transitions. I believe that in order to move forward and stop patterns or critical thoughts that no longer serve you, it’s often helpful to look back, examine your experiences, and explore the beliefs you hold about yourself.

In our work together, we’ll take the time to heal old wounds, discover who you truly are, and build the tools you need for lasting change. Clients describe me as supportive, caring, nonjudgmental, and compassionate, with a pretty good sense of humor. My goal is to help you feel safe, seen, and encouraged as you create a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.

I understand that finding a therapist can feel overwhelming, which is why I strive to make the process easier. My office will verify your insurance benefits and file claims on your behalf so you can focus on what matters most—your healing. I offer both in-person and online sessions for adults Monday through Friday, with some evening availability.
